Mike has over 40 years of experience working for Shell in the Oil, LNG, Chemicals businesses and Consultancy Services, occupying Managerial and Supervisory and working as a Principal Consultant in Shell\u2019s Global Business Improvement Group.\u00a0 \u200b<\/span><\/p>

Over the last several years Mike has provided SME consultancy support to clients in Columbia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Kuwait, Iraq, Spain and the UAE through technical reviews, development of Competence Systems, the assurance of staff in technical and safety critical roles, developing assessor capability in organisations, and facilitating Front Line leader workshops focusing on delivering safe operations.\u200b\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In Oman, Mike was Head of Training and Development for Oman LNG, where he developed the start-up training programme, the Competence Management System, the Omanisation competence-based qualification pathway programmes for the Operator\/Maintenance technicians that included fast\u00a0 track\u00a0 options.\u00a0 He was a member of the Oman LNG Employment Committee, a joint Company and Ministry body with oversight on recruitment and Omanisation.\u200b\u00a0 Mike also provided expertise and support to Shell greenfield projects (Qatar Shell Pearl GTL) and for Shell’s strategic third-party partners (ADNOC and Hellenic Petroleum).\u200b\u00a0 Mike was a member of the extended Management Team for Shell\u2019s green field Joint Venture project in China.\u200b\u00a0 \u200b<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
