1. Situation
The organisation’s prior Vision had a very positive influence on the organisation and aligning action towards the vision.
In addition to the Vision, a series of deeply held Values were developed that acted as a guide to how the journey would be shaped. These encompassed the value that the organisation placed in people, shareholders, customers, suppliers, the community and the environment.
To support major growth and the next era of success, the CEO requested a process to support the National Energy Company’s Senior Management and Leadership team in generating a new compelling Vision and set of values for the organisation. We also supported the CEO and his management leadership team to establish alignment and ownership within the organisation to fulfil on the new vision and values.
2. Value Created
Facilitated the creation of the next long-term vision, mission and values by members of the organisation and aligned the leadership team with it.
Supported the integration of short-term needs and goals within the long-term mission and defining standards of performance excellence.
Co-led cascade sessions of the vision, mission and values throughout the organisation to create a shared understanding of the direction of the organisation and to ensure full ‘buy in’ across the organisation and everyone seeing how they could play a role to support its success.
Provided coaching support to key executives and managers as they led the vision and strategy into successful implementation.
Co-developed a follow up plan to keep the vision, mission and values accurately present through time.
