Peter Gordon
Peter has 25 years Performance Improvement consulting experience and has delivered transformational change across multiple industries. He has worked with global leading management consulting organisations in regional and global leadership roles working with blue-chip clients internationally advising them on transformational projects and programmes focusing on risk management, strategy, leadership, safety, culture change and operations.
Peter specialises in programmes and initiatives to drive significant and sustainable transformations in HSE performance in both large-scale organisations and in major capital projects. He has designed many bespoke Contractor Safety engagements and interventions in the Energy, Construction, Infrastructure, Logistics and Rail industries worldwide to achieve both behavioural change on the frontline and significant and sustainable reductions in incidents and accidents.
As a coach, trainer, facilitator, consultant and team leader, Peter helps leaders – at all levels – to align on their core purpose and values, and to build their individual competencies, capacities and resilience
Natalie Smith
Over 25 years of experience in organisational leadership and culture and high-performance teamwork, as well as safety leadership and culture. Specialising in supporting diverse groups of stakeholders come together in a people-centric approach that builds common intent. Delivers work in many parts of the world. Has lived and worked in the Middle East since 2006.
Natalie specialises in ‘human performance’ approaches and has helped clients develop customised programmes that drive sustainable change and effective performance improvements. Her expertise spans workshops, training, consulting, and coaching, all tailored to meet organisational specific needs.
Mike Cunningham
Mike has over 40 years of experience working for Shell in the Oil, LNG, Chemicals businesses and Consultancy Services, occupying Managerial and Supervisory and working as a Principal Consultant in Shell’s Global Business Improvement Group.
Over the last several years Mike has provided SME consultancy support to clients in Columbia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Kuwait, Iraq, Spain and the UAE through technical reviews, development of Competence Systems, the assurance of staff in technical and safety critical roles, developing assessor capability in organisations, and facilitating Front Line leader workshops focusing on delivering safe operations.
In Oman, Mike was Head of Training and Development for Oman LNG, where he developed the start-up training programme, the Competence Management System, the Omanisation competence-based qualification pathway programmes for the Operator/Maintenance technicians that included fast track options. He was a member of the Oman LNG Employment Committee, a joint Company and Ministry body with oversight on recruitment and Omanisation. Mike also provided expertise and support to Shell greenfield projects (Qatar Shell Pearl GTL) and for Shell’s strategic third-party partners (ADNOC and Hellenic Petroleum). Mike was a member of the extended Management Team for Shell’s green field Joint Venture project in China.
Nasser Ashour
Nasser is experienced in liaising with clients to understand and deliver their vision and expectations. Collaborates well with others to understand and meet objectives. Brings diverse groups of people to work together effectively, within very short timelines and in high pressure situations.
Nasser has a background in operations, site management and supervising crews. Nasser has eight years’ experience working on high profile events developing a strong level of skills in organizing, planning, preparing and time management. Nasser brings a calm, respectful and diplomatic approach to engaging with clients, contractors and workforce, and has a high level of interpersonal skills in communication and ability to productively interact with, and interface between, others. Nasser was educated in Qatar and Al-Ahliya Ammam University, Jordan in Communication and Electronic Engineering.
