Multi-year programme, working closely with client executives and Contractor CEOs across Projects, Wells, and Logistics & Infrastructure portfolios.

We Led the delivery of a three-year Client-Contractor CEO HSE journey which delivered the following outcomes: 

  • Co-created with members the Charter of a shared purpose and collective intention of a collaborative, no competition, approach when it comes to safety. 
  • Established second tier of focused working groups for collective, active safety leadership at the highest levels. 
  • Executives frequently going out into the work environment to engage 80,000 workers together.
  • Trained Executives to use a coaching style to enable others to lead safety.

2. Value Created

  • Significant decrease in Lost Time Incidents and reduction in severity.
  • Many Executives said it was the first time in 20+ years to experience such a close and collaborative working relationship between client and other contractors. 
  • High interest to cascade the safety leadership approach through the line in all organizations raising safety standards across the country.
  • Shift from telling and enforcing, to engaging and enabling people as leaders of safety in the field.
