1. Situation
Worked closely with a client and their contractors to develop an aligned way to lead safety in their organisations and then effectively cascade the same leadership approach through the line. The work spanned a number of different organisations and locations over a three-year period.
The programme delivered the following outcomes:
- Established a consistent approach to safety leadership across the organizations who work together.
- Relieved the pressure on the executives to be providing the desired safety leadership in all locations at all times.
- Created engaged and enabled leadership in the line to the front line encouraging increased awareness and community driven solutions for safety and wellbeing.
- Ensured values of respect and active care were more consistently experienced by the workforce in being treated fairly, feeling cared for and safe to speak up.
